CVIR Endovascular Awards

To honour its most outstanding authors and reviewers from the previous year, CVIR Endovascular introduced the "Awards for Outstanding Service to the Journal" in 2020. In 2023, the award for most cited article was introduced in recognition of the high performance of many journal articles and an award for young investigators offers the author an article processing charge (APC) waiver (details below).

The awards are given out during CIRSE's annual meeting. The CVIR Endovascular awards are:
• Most downloaded article
• Best media performance article
• Most reviews carried out

• Most cited article (since 2023)

• Young investigator award (since 2023)

Application process for 2026 are open - submit your application by July 14!

Throw your hat in the ring for the CVIR Endovascular Young Investigator Award which recognizes and supports early carrier investigators who have published in CVIR Endovascular over the last year. 

Who should apply? 
• Applicants must be within five years of completing their interventional radiology or vascular surgery training and
• Have authored and published an original research or review article in CVIR Endovascular in 2025 

What to submit?
To apply, simply email your CV and a link to your CVIR Endovascular article from 2025 to [email protected]

The lucky winner will be honoured at the joint CIRSE Journals Awards Ceremony and Reception at CIRSE 2026 in Copenhagen. Please note that a valid registration for CIRSE 2026 will be required to attend the event.
