Young Investigator Award

Warren Clements, Melbourne/AU

Young Investigator Award Winner

Our first-ever winner of the Young Investigator Award is Prof. Warren Clements. After finishing his IR training in 2017, he has kept busy, completing the EBIR exam in the same year, and finishing a Master in Health Administration in 2022. He was promoted from the CVIR Endovascular Reviewer Forum in 2021 and accordingly joined the journal's editorial board.

His submission to CVIR Endovascular in 2021, "A prospective cross-sectional study assessing teaching of interventional radiology across 20 Australian medical schools, endorsed by the Australian Medical Students Association", rendered him eligible for the award and among many outstanding candidates this year, he came out on top.

Warren lives up to the ideals of CVIR Endovascular: he contributes to important scientific discourse in the field of IR; he supports the next generation of intervenionists; and his work has contributed to the betterment of IR techniques and patient outcomes. Join us in congratulating him on this, among his many achievements!
